About

Incorporated in 2020 as FinSpec Inc., the company started in financial consulting and software services.

In 2024, FinSpec shifted its focus to education technology R&D and built CONNEC-T, the technology platform used under license by TutorAide — an independent entity. Since 2026, the technology activities operate publicly under the StudioSpec brand, while FinSpec Inc. remains the legal entity for contracts, fiscal filings, and other formal matters.

Approach

  1. AI-first methodology pushed all the way (Claude Code, Cursor as central tools, not accessories).
  2. Small team, high execution rigor.
  3. Bilingual, based in Montréal.
